Watch Where You Sit!
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw
the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?' The eagle
answered: 'Sure, why not.' So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle
and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate
it. Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting
very, very high!

Rebuilding The Wall Brick By Brick
To Our Christian Friends:
We, the members of Mariah Walker AME Church are pleading for your prayers
and support as we are preparing to rebuild the wall of our church. As you
may know, we have not been able to worship at Mariah Walker due to this
damage. Mariah Walker has been our home for over 50 years and we want it to
be open another 50 years. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 by the end of June
2014 with God’s help. We are workers together with him.
We would be grateful for any donations as we prepare to return home with
your help. Our situation should not change our praise and our praise can
certainly change our situation.
“Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will
take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.” Haggai 1:8
